About MalimGunung.my

Connecting Malaysia’s Malim Gunung Perhutanan with the World

MalimGunung.my is a dedicated digital platform created to help Malim Gunung Perhutanan (MGP) introduce themselves, showcase their experience and expertise, and become easier to discover by hikers, trekkers and outdoor enthusiasts from Malaysia and around the world.

The platform is developed and operated by DIY Business System (JM0992313-K), a business system focused on helping Malaysian businesses embrace digital marketing, websites, SEO and AI-ready strategies.

Part of a Bigger Digital Business System

DIY Business System helps businesses establish their own digital presence through websites and specialized shared platforms.

Instead of every business having to build everything alone, we create professional niche platforms that bring businesses and service providers with similar interests together.

MalimGunung.my is one of these specialized platforms.

Our aim is to create additional digital channels where MGP can introduce themselves, be discovered and connect with people looking for their services.

Helping Businesses Become AI Ready

The digital world is changing rapidly.

Today, it is no longer enough for a business to simply have a website.

Businesses also need to make sure that their information, services, expertise and identity can be understood by search engines and AI systems.

DIY Business System helps businesses work towards becoming AI Ready by improving their digital presence, website structure, content and SEO.

Our vision is simple:

Let AI know who you are, what you do, where you are, and how you can help.

When people ask search engines or AI assistants for a particular service, destination or specialist, we want properly presented and discoverable information about Malaysian businesses and professionals to have a better opportunity to be found.

Connecting People Through Specialized Platforms

MalimGunung.my is designed to work together with other specialized platforms developed within the DIY Business System ecosystem.

These platforms can cross-link and support one another, creating additional opportunities for businesses and professionals to gain digital exposure.

Our network includes platforms such as:

PusatPelancongan.com – Malaysia Tourism Information
TouristAttractions.my – Tourist Attractions in Malaysia
TouristGuides.my – Malaysia Tourist Guides
TourismMall.com – Tourism Marketplace
MalaysiaNationalPark.com – Malaysia National Parks
BolehBoleh.com – Malaysian businesses, services and opportunities

Through appropriate cross-linking and content promotion, information can be connected across different platforms and destinations.

This helps create a broader digital ecosystem rather than leaving each business to promote itself alone.

Connecting with Malaysia’s Tourism Industry

The founder of DIY Business System and MalimGunung.my, Cikgu Wong, is actively involved in Malaysia’s tourism industry and regularly participates in tourism-related programmes, events, meetings and networking activities.

He currently serves as an EXCO member of the Malaysian Inbound Tourism Association (MITA) and regularly interacts with tourism companies, associations, industry leaders and tourism-related organizations.

Through these industry activities and networking opportunities, Cikgu Wong can introduce MalimGunung.my to tourism professionals and industry partners across Malaysia.

The objective is not simply to build a website.

It is to create more opportunities for Malaysian Malim Gunung Perhutanan to be seen, discovered and connected with the wider tourism ecosystem.

Our Vision

Malaysia is blessed with magnificent tropical rainforests, mountains, hiking trails, biodiversity and natural heritage.

Behind many of these experiences are knowledgeable local professionals who understand the forests, mountains, trails, nature and communities.

MalimGunung.my aims to give these professionals another digital channel to introduce themselves to the world.

We hope this platform will help bring MGP together, increase their visibility and make it easier for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts to discover the right people to guide their Malaysian adventure.
